Al has over 20 years experience in the CPG industry and has worked for Unilever and recently Johnson & Johnson. During his 16 years at Johnson & Johnson, Al worked for 4 different J&J Consumer Operating Companies and has held various roles both domestically in the US and Internationally. Al’s most recent role was the Director, Emerging Markets for J&J/McNeil Nutritionals division where he was responsible for leading the global expansion strategy and new market development as a key growth platform. Al lived in China for 2-years where he was responsible for establishing the SPLENDA® business in China and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Marketing Activations. Al led the start-ups of SPLENDA® Brand Sweetener in Argentina, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Philippines, and the Middle East, and also worked on acquisitions. Al has extensive and broad range of experience in sales and marketing, global expansion and business start-ups, multiple categories and channels, and building strategic partnerships. Al graduated from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelors degree in Marketing.
